Prof. Adda Athanasopoulos-Zekkos is elected President of the United States Universities Council on Geotechnical Education and Research (USUCGER) Board

Professor Adda Athanasopoulos-Zekkos has been elected President of the U.S. Universities Council on Geotechnical Education and Research (USUCGER). She will serve a two-year term, from 2020-2022. Prof. Adda Athanasopoulos-Zekkos was elected to serve on the Board of the United States Universities Council on Geotechnical Education and Research (USUCGER).  USUCGER is the national organization focused on advancing high quality geotechnical engineering research and education at US academic institutions.  Prof. Athanasopoulos-Zekkos will serve a 4 year term starting in 2019.

Assistant Professor Adda Athanasopoulos-Zekkos recently received the 2015 Middlebrooks Award from ASCE Geo-Institute. Athanasopoulos-Zekkos and Raymond B.
