Professor Athanasopoulos-Zekkos receives NSF CAREER award
Assistant Professor Adda Athanasopoulos-Zekkos has received the NSF CAREER award, NSF's most prestigious award in support of junior faculty.
These awards are given to those who exemplify the role of teacher-scholars through outstanding research, excellent education and the integration of education and research.
Athanasopoulos-Zekkos' project is entitled, "CAREER: Promoting a Fundamental Understanding of Post-Liquefaction Response and Deformations: A Next-Generation Analytical and Experimental Methodology".
Her award will be effective on December 1, 2013 and will continue through November 2018.
